Classes in Sacramento

It is my understanding that there is a real need for vendors in the Sacramento area; that is, students need instructors, but they do not want to drive all the way to Roseville/Granite Bay. I would be willing to travel to Sacramento to teach if the group had at least 10 students. We would also need a meeting place. Please let me know if you are interested.

High school English teaching and tutoring

I am currently teaching high school English/Language Arts courses and high school choir.  If there is enough interest (so please let me know if you are interested) I will offer an ACT English prep course for spring semester 2014. I also offer private tutoring in English/Language Arts, German, and Music Theory. In addition, one of my favorite activities is knitting, so I am offering a knitting class for ages 8 and up. BEGINNING KNITTING CLASS

Knitting for beginners aged 8 and up. 5 students maximum in this fun and creative class. Students will learn techniques and complete projects of their choice. The class is offered on Mondays from 3:00-5:00 in Granite Bay. Cost is $350/semester plus materials. Please contact me with any questions at (916) 719-1554.

HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH CLASSES BASED ON STATE STANDARDS

English classes of 5-15 students offered for grades 9-12. Courses are based on state standards and include reading and analysis of grade-level literature, vocabulary building, writing, and oral presentations. Cost is $350/semester plus materials. Classes meet once a week on Mondays from 9:45-11:45 or Wednesdays from 9:45-11:45 OR twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00-1:00 in Granite Bay.

MIXED CHOIR FOR GRADES 9-12 IN LOOMIS

New classes will begin in September 2013. Classes will be weekly on Wednesdays from 2:45-3:45 at 5180 Covenant Court in Loomis. Cost is $100/semester with an additional music fee of $25/semester. Classes will run from September through May; performance dates will be announced in September. Families must contact their ES or ST to officially sign up for this course. TUTORING FOR GRADES 7-12 IN ENGLISH, GERMAN, OR MUSIC THEORY

Private tutoring available for grades 7-12 in English, German, or music theory. Times to be arranged at our mutual convenience, location in Granite Bay. Cost is $40/hour. Semi-private tutoring also available at a cost of $25/hour per student for 2-4 students. Families must contact their ES or ST to officially sign up for this as a class.
